Water-Loving Pooch Attempts Joining In On Fur Mom’s Bath Time

A golden retriever is laying down on a white background.

Dogs can sometimes act in a toddler-like manner. Just as toddlers love to follow their parents wherever they go, our beloved canine friends do the same to feel secure.

As such, it’s not unusual to find an adorable dog follow its fur mom to their bathroom. However, it seems this dog takes its stalking skills to the next level as it chooses to join in on its fur mom’s bath time.

Clark! Get away from here!

In this short yet hilarious video, two brown-furred dogs sit on the tiled floor of their bathroom. While one of the dogs sit quietly facing the camera, the other pooch’s busy tinkering with something interesting inside the room.

A few seconds later, one can hear a woman’s voice yelling the name of one dog inside the bathroom. It turns out, one of the dogs, named Clark, followed Mom while she’s taking a refreshing shower.

Since Mom couldn’t continue with her bath time, she commands the pooch to go out of the shower cubicle. However, this water-loving pooch refuses to follow suit as it continues to accompany Mom inside the shower stall.

Go away, please.

As the video progresses, Clark refused to come out of the shower room, making Mom even more frustrated. Since Mom’s currently taking her bath, she can’t just open the shower curtains to egg the pooch to go out.

With this, she repeatedly begs for the pooch to let her finish her shower in peace. At some point, Mom even calls out to Clark’s fur dad to help her out with the situation. But, nothing that the dog’s fur parents do could convince Clark to let Mom continue with her bath.

Do you think Mom and Dad would still find a way to persuade Clark to leave? If you want to take a look at the video’s ending, make sure to click the play button below.

Lost Dog Wanders Into A Prison, Gets VIP Treatment From The Inmates

A dog wearing a green backpack in front of a lake.

Soup, an English Setter, was out hunting for quails with his dad when he got distracted with a deer. Soup wandered into the woods and never returned. His parents never knew that he was getting the VIP treatment at a nearby prison.

Where is Soup?

Soup is an excellent hunting dog, but he gets easily distracted. So when he disappeared into the woods while he was out hunting with his dad, Michael Parker, his humans couldn’t help but worry. The Parkers searched for Soup everywhere, but the dog was never found.

Michael and his wife, Leigh, became more worried when they saw birds feeding on a creature’s carcass. They were thinking of the worst, and that it could be Soup’s dead body that the birds were feasting on. They were relieved to find out that it a deer’s body and not their baby, Soup.

The couple never stopped looking for the lost dog until a correctional officer called and informed them that Soup was at the prison the whole time. Apparently, Soup had lost his name tag, so the prison employees had no idea who the dog belongs to.

Soup’s memorable adventure at a prison

Meanwhile, Soup had completely charmed the inmates that they gave up their dinners so that he can eat. Soup fed on steak, roast beef, and peach cobblers. Apart from the delicious meals and the inmates’ undivided attention, Soup also had a huge yard to run in. He played basketball with some of the detainees and even bonded with the prison’s K-9s.

When Michael heard the news, he rushed to prison right away to collect his dog. Soup had the time of his life there, but he was also excited to go home with his dad. Michael whistled, and the dog came bounding towards him. Soup showered him with sweet kisses before leaping into the truck’s front seat.

Soup is now back home with his loving humans. The Parkers are meaning to go back to the prison to personally thank the inmates and the employees for looking after Soup. They’re also giving the warden a delicious pecan pie. Watch the story of Soup’s adventure in the video below.

Senior Pit Bull Gets More Than 500 Cards For His Birthday And Our Hearts Are Melting

A white and black dog laying on the floor.

Truffles has been living in a shelter for years. It is a sad thing for this American pit bull terrier mix.

Truffles was just four years old when she was taken in by the Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center in NYC. Valerie Sanks is one of the volunteers there who helps take care of the dog.

It has been three years of caring for the dog. Valerie knows Truffles too well. She says that she sees Truffles as a real angel. She says that just by looking at the dog’s white and black coat and her sweet demeanor, one can easily fall for the animal.

In 2017, after being in the shelter for 3 years, Truffles found a family who would adopt her. She was good with kids. Her new house gave her a good life.

Two years after though, Truffles’ owners didn’t want her anymore so she was brought back to the shelter. It was a sad affair and Valerie was there to welcome her back. She made sure that she gave Truffles a lot of love.

Valerie was happy to be reunited with Truffles but in her heart, she knew that being a senior dog, Truffles may have the least chance of getting adopted. So with the dog’s 10th birthday nearing, Valerie had an idea of how she could get Truffles some love.

Truffles got a hotel suite for a sleepover party. She wore a princess costume and had famous photographer Sophie Gamand for a birthday photoshoot.

Sophie was happy to help and shared photos of Truffles on social media. She even asked people to send Truffles birthday cards. Truffles isn’t into toys and she has a special diet so other gifts may not be good for her.

Sophie’s post became viral and the shelter received more than 500 cards on behalf of Truffles!

The Expressions Of This Dog Is The Highlight Of A Family’s Holiday Photo Shoot

A group of people sitting on a bench with a dog.

For most families, dogs are already a vital part of their lives. This is why dogs join their family members in celebrating any milestones. Dogs are also part of the family’s activities, including photoshoots.

This dog named Beatrice is taking the internet by storm due to her hilarious reactions in their Holiday family photoshoot. The family wants to capture a beautiful portrait, but it was the dog who made it even more attractive and funny.

The reason for the photoshoot is for the family to have good pictures to be given away to friends as a holiday greeting. The family decided to bring with them their dog named Beatrice and their house cat. The photographer then assigned their places, and Beatrice was placed at the center.

Unlike the cat who was behaved during the shoot, Beatrice had other plans. The dog kept barking and seemed not impressed with the photoshoot. It was Mari Trancoso who got assigned to do the photoshoot. Trancoso’s usual line of work includes covering weddings and family gatherings. She agreed to do the family’s photoshoot, but she was not aware that there would be animals involved.

The family, though, assured her that the dog and cat are well-mannered. During the shoot, however, this was proven false because of Beatrice’s behavior. Instead of getting upset, Trancoso proceeded with her shoot.

During the post-processing of the photos she took, Trancoso got surprised to see that in every picture, the pooch was making hilarious facial expressions. It was as if the dog was a photobomber.

According to Trancoso, while the dog was restless, she just kept clicking as ordered by the family. So, she did. She added that the dog had different expressions, but all of them are very funny. She showed it to the family, and they too loved the hilarious reactions of their beloved pooch.

Woman Spends Weeks Earning The Trust Of A Stray German Shepherd And Her Pittie Best Friend

A german shepherd dog looking out of a window.

Judy Obregon has been rescuing abandoned dogs at a park in Fort Worth for the better part of a decade. Over the years, Echo Lake Park has become infamous for being a dumping ground for dead, dying, and unwanted animals.

Its reputation is not unfounded. Judy has saved more than 400 canines in the area since 2010, the year she founded her rescue organization The Abandoned Ones.

Nearly every single day, Judy roams Echo Lake Park and the areas surrounding it, carrying dog food, toys, and blankets. She doesn’t just stop there; the rescuer rummages through piles of trash and hacks through bushes looking for animals in dire need of help.

Most of the canines she finds seem to realize that Judy is there to help, and they walk right up to her. It wasn’t the case for an elusive German Shepherd named Iris, however.

A police officer had spotted the pooch wandering around Echo Lake Park and contacted Judy for help. As soon as the rescuer set foot in the park, Iris fled in fear.

Judy wanted to help the dog, but she knew she couldn’t use a trap since it scares off a lot of animals. Thus, she decided to be patient in earning Iris’s trust.

Early every morning, Judy would go to the park to leave food for the German Shepherd. She didn’t attempt to chase after Iris; instead, she just sat there watching, letting the dog get to know her better.

Eventually, Iris started approaching her, albeit from a distance. The dog still wasn’t sure if she could trust Judy, but hunger trumped suspicion.

After three weeks, the German Shepherd no longer ran away when Judy’s truck pulled in. This time, Iris walked up to the woman and sniffed her hand.

Now that Iris knew that Judy wouldn’t hurt her, she realized it was time to introduce her canine friend to the rescuer. As it turns out, the German Shepherd had been looking after another stray all that time.

The other dog was Clover, a pit bull. Unlike Iris, he took to Judy immediately, wagging his tail happily when he saw her.

That was when the rescuer decided that she would have to take both dogs out of the park soon. Iris would’ve survived longer because she was quick to run away. On the other hand, the friendly Clover would’ve gone with anyone who showed an iota of kindness, even if it was false.

A couple of days later, Judy went back for the canines and brought them to a veterinarian for treatment. Iris had a cyst and a tumor that needed removal, while Clover required antibiotics for the wounds on his face.

But the good news was that both dogs tested negative for heartworm. Iris and Clover recovered quickly and were soon ready for adoption.

They didn’t have to wait too long; after five months, the two found loving forever homes. Watch Iris in the video below:

Staffie Who Endured Horrible Abuse Quickly Finds A Forever Home Where She Will No Longer Have To Cower In Terror

A brown and white dog laying in the grass.

When a Good Samaritan spotted a small Staffordshire Bull Terrier doing her best to hide among some bushes in Harlesden, London, they could not have imagined the state they would find her in. To say that they were upset would be putting it mildly.

The Staffie, who was eventually christened Jayda, was severely emaciated, and her body was full of bleeding wounds. Also, it looked like the pooch had just given birth as she was still lactating, although there were no signs of her litter anywhere.

Both the Staffie’s right eye and left ear were infected. Moreover, the mark around her muzzle made it abundantly clear that Jayda’s previous owner kept her mouth taped for extended periods.

The Good Samaritan immediately brought Jayda to Mayhew, an animal charity based in London. The medical team estimated the Staffie to be approximately four years of age based on their initial assessment of her teeth.

However, after examining the dog thoroughly, Mayhew’s veterinarians realized that Jayda was, in fact, only two and a half years old. This discovery only made the abuse she had gone through more appalling; the Staffie was so young, but she had suffered so much.

Jayda’s former owners had deprived her of affection, so she was understandably hungry for it. As soon as the pooch realized that she could trust the Mayhew staff, she couldn’t get enough pets and cuddles from them.

The Staffie was sweet and friendly, much to the employees’ delight. Jayda responded well to treatment as well as to their efforts to socialize her.

As it happens, Mayhew’s fundraising officer, Duschanca Singh, had been looking for a new dog at the time. When she met Jayda, she fell in love with the Staffie’s unbreakable spirit and decided to adopt her.

Jayda’s doing great at her forever home, where she has found an older sister in Duschanca’s other pooch, Kelsey. The Staffie enjoys playing at the dog park with other canines. She even gets to visit her “extended family” at Mayhew from time to time.

The canine still hasn’t completely forgotten her painful past, however. For now, Duschanca can’t put a harness or even a winter coat on Jayda as it triggers fear and distress.

In time, however, and with her fur mom’s unconditional love, the Staffie will soon put the terrible memories of cruelty behind her. Watch Jayda living her best life in the video below:

Man Chooses To Stay Behind With His Pets Amidst Hurricane Dorian

Two pictures of a man hugging a dog in an airport.

The first instinct that most people do when natural calamities come is to secure their safety and their loved ones’. Sadly, some owners often forget that pets are families too and do not include them in evacuating danger zones.

One man in the Bahamas documented how he bravely waited out the hurricane Dorian together with his pets in his home. Bruce Claridge took a video of himself, sharing that the storm is coming in closer into their home.

https://www.facebook.com/bruce.claridge.77/videos/1338025429679209/

In the video, he showed how strong the winds blew. He urged the people watching his video to say a prayer because he knew that it would take a while before the storm passes.

Bruce took a video of himself together with his pet dogs, Mushy, and Bella. After he described Mushy as his big old baby, he went on to show his other pup named Bella.

Bruce knew that his Great Danes were obviously frightened because of how strong the winds were. Bruce was calm despite how terrifying the situation was outside his home.

He tried to book a flight that would take him, his dogs, and his wife’s pet cats, out of the Bahamas, but he did not succeed. Bruce loved his dogs so much that he could not bear leaving his dogs alone in the storm.

Bruce risked his life by staying in his home just so he could be with his Great Danes and his wife’s cats. He tried to make do with the little supplies he has left in his home, while he waited for the storm to calm down.

Fortunately, Bruce was able to get in touch with an animal rescue group. He coordinated with them to help save the other stranded dogs on the island.

Thanks to Bruce’s bravery, not only did he save himself and his pets, but he also rescued other dogs in need. Many people even applauded Bruce for being so thoughtful of those in need.
