Being a dog person, you know that your dog is a creature of habit. It maps out in its mind the areas that you give it access to during house training and takes note of the time you took it out to eliminate, eat, and play. All this explains why your dog does everything in routine. It can also do things in random and intelligent enough to have its own fun time even if you hadn’t trained it to do so, though.

As seen on the video, dogs are priceless creatures that we are so fortunate to own or adopt. They are amazing living things that like us, have brains that can make great times and acts. Good news dog lovers! Zelda, the dog abandoned by former UFC champion Frank Shamrock, finally found her forever home. A couple who was looking for a dog found that Zelda matches the features of a dog they are looking for.

Last March 2, Frank Shamrock was the talk of the town for the wrong reason. He abandoned a dog in the parking lot of a Dallas airport. Although he reasoned out that he tried to find a shelter for the dog and made a shout out in Instagram about this, but his reason was unacceptable for many.

The abandoned dog is a six-year-old Labrador retriever named Zelda. The dog was his mother’s, but Shamrock said that his elderly mother is already incapable of taking care of her pets. He is bringing his mother with him to California, and he is forced to give up her two pet dogs.

He was able to find a shelter for the other dog, but he did not find one for Zelda. Shamrock said that he was forced to leave Zelda in Dallas’ Love Field airport.  He tied the pooch in a pick-up truck with some food and water before leaving for California with his mother on that same day.

The dog was stuck in the truck for five days before the police found her. Animal rights activists said it was freezing that weekend and the dog could have frozen to death. The police are planning to file charges against Shamrock.

On the one hand, Shamrock knew that he had done something wrong. He would face any charges on his actions, according to the UFC fighter. Not wanting to leave Zelda under that situation, but that he had no other options at the moment.

The dog was put under the care of the Dallas Animal Control and the SPCA. Zelda was later put up for adoption where her new owners found her. According to the SPCA, Zelda is in the best of health and spirits because her new family completely adores her.

Betsy Reyes called out her dog, Princess, on Facebook for scheming to get free hamburgers from people at a McDonald’s outlet in their neighborhood.

According to her, Princess sneaks out of their house at night to go to McDonald’s and sit out front. One night, Reyes figured out what Princess is up to on her night outs.

She caught her dog in the act as she pretends to be a stray to be able to get free food from the unsuspecting McDonalds’s customers. She definitely knows how to work her cute puppy face to get her way.

Reyes asked people to stop feeding Princess’ fat butt because she does not know how to behave appropriately. She also playfully called her dog a gold digger because of her acting as a stray to get free burgers.

She also posted clips of the actual entrapment operation that she did the night she caught her dog. The clip shows Princess as she sits beside a car with a person inside waiting to be fed.

You can see Princess as she excitedly wags her tail in anticipation. Soon enough, the person threw food her way which she gladly gobbled up.

After catching her dog in action while doing her scheming, she pulled up, and Princess instantly recognized her. Now, Princess is wagging her tail for a different reason. It’s either she is happy to see her owner, or she’s embarrassed that she’s caught.

The posts and the videos went viral, and a lot of people found Princess and her scheme adorable. Reyes must have been intrigued why her dog disappears at night and is gaining weight.

Hopefully, Princess will lie low on the burgers and fries because we all know that too much of that is bad for our health.

In the video, you will see how excited the dog was the moment he saw his owner walk towards the front yard. He nudged the front door and jumped out from the entrance to give his owner a big hug.

When the owner understood what is about to happen, he waited for the dog and prepared for the big furry ball that is about to come his way. The dog trusts his owner so much. So when he flew towards him, he knew that his owner would catch him.

Going home is a lot more exciting especially when you know that someone wants to see you badly. When you witness the excitement of your dog to see you speak a lot about you as its owner, it only means that the dog appreciate your presence in its life and the absence of it makes a difference.

With this, you will know that you did an excellent job of raising and taking care of your dog or your other pets. Thus, make sure that you spend time with your dogs and let them know that you also love spending time with them. In Allentown, Pennsylvania, a Siberian Husky named Zeus is creating a name for himself. His stubborn and funny behavior has made him a bit of an internet sensation, with tons of fans on both his Facebook and Instagram accounts.

In this video, the Siberian Husky has received a new outdoor dog bed for his birthday. It’s raining outside, so his owner assembled the bed indoors and has him give it a go. The result will have you in stitches. His owner asks him how he likes his new dog bed. Zeus lets out a sigh. Then, he lifts his head and gives a long, approving howl.

Every time she asks the Husky if he likes it, he raises his head and howls long and blissfully. He is told it will go outside once the weather clears up. Zeus doesn’t seem to mind, as long as he can lie on it. Check out the funny video below:

Notice how Zeus’ brother is watching on. The Husky’s so enamored with his bed, and he is not about to let his brother have a turn. The longest, most hysterical howl happens when his owner asks him to say thank you for his new bed. It actually sounds like he’s broken into a song about it.

Zeus’ owner says the Siberian Husky is often very talkative. He is also quite stubborn. There are a few videos out showing Zeus in various comical situations.

The Husky’s owner also says whenever they go into a pet store, Zeus will look for a bed, lie down on it, and always refuses to get up. But, he isn’t a lazy dog, according to his mom. He has gone running with her for over seven years now, and he’s even been in a few marathons! Thank you for a laugh, Zeus!

Meatloaf was roaming alone in the streets of Florida when he got hit by a car. The driver quickly called animal control to ask for help. Rescue Animals In Need (RAIN) took Meatloaf and checked his condition. Soon, they realized that the poor dog didn’t only suffer from a car accident. He’s had a traumatic life too.

The dog’s skin was covered with mange and infection. He was underweight and was horrified of everything too. His injuries imply that he must have been a dogfighting bait dog in the past.

Despite that, Meatloaf showed signs of friendliness. He kept wagging his tail as if he was delighted that he was finally safe. He was trying his best to overcome his anxiety.

The shelter placed Meatloaf in a foster home while he was healing. Later on, they started looking for his forever home too. Despite meeting a few prospective adopters, Meatloaf’s foster mom felt that none of them was quite right for him. He’s gone through so much that his foster mom knows he needs to find a family where Meatloaf would thrive.

His mom was worried that she might not find a family that she’d feel comfortable handing Meatloaf over to. Then, his foster mom met Brittney Strugala. Brittney was searching for a dog for her friend when she saw Meatloaf’s picture. Suddenly, she felt a strong need to adopt him.

Brittney and her fiancé had been thinking of getting a friend for Sky, their pit bull. Brittney knew that Meatloaf is that perfect friend. However, they weren’t allowed to have another dog in their apartment. So, the couple decided to move.

During their first day at their new apartment, Brittney immediately applied for Meatloaf’s adoption. Five days later, Meatloaf moved in with his new family. Meatloaf’s health has already improved at that time. However, he was still suffering from anxiety, so his new family did everything to help him out.

Sky also helped a lot in Meatloaf’s recovery. He helped him overcome his fears. Now, Meatloaf has become the goofiest pit bull he can be. With his family by his side, he knows there’s nothing that he can’t conquer.

Although dogs are cute animals, they too can sometimes be playful and can pull off many funny moments. Several studies in the past showed how dogs could adapt quickly to situations as they are imbued with high intelligence compared to other animals.

Certain breeds like Golden Retrievers are easily trainable and can remember to do things when done daily. Aside from these, dogs can adjust to instances when they know that they are at a disadvantage.

They can also think of ways of doing things beyond one’s imagination like getting food from the refrigerator, turning on the television, and opening a door.

This pooch from Spokane, Washington, however, brought his intelligence to a whole new level as he was able to call the attention of his owners by ringing the doorbell.

Marshall, a three-month-old golden retriever, loves to go on different adventures outside of their home. Due to this, the dog almost always gets caught in a lot of mischievous events in the past.

One night, Marshall seemed bored inside the house, so he decided to escape their home and do some adventure outside. He, however, later realized that he had to go back, only to find out that the door was closed.

Sensing trouble since it is already night outside, the dog tried to go back inside the house to no avail as it was locked. Outside the house, the smart dog taught of solution for him to get inside. He then remembered that there was a doorbell beside the door.

Marshall first attempted to make scratching sound at the entrance to get the attention of his owner. As soon as he realized that he is not doing it right, he went to the doorbell and started pressing it using his nose and paws. All of these events were caught in a surveillance camera positioned near the house’s doorbell.

His owner Greg Basel finally heard the dog’s plea, and Marshall was successful in entering the house safely.
