Two Dog Siblings Unexpectedly Reunite In Seattle Park

A golden retriever puppy sitting in front of a white background.

Two Golden Retrievers had finally reunited when they crossed paths in Seattle Park. For sure, neither one of them expected the memorable reunion. Pam Corwin witnessed this heartwarming moment as she was strolling through the park. She heard a commotion coming from two dogs.

Curious about the commotion, she checked out what it was about as she was also concerned about the dogs’ safety. She felt worried about the two pups at first. When she came over to the place where the commotion came from, she discovered two excited puppies who had just reunited. She watched the two puppies play as if they had known each other so well.

The way they interacted seemed like they were best of friends for years. Their fur parents thought that they hadn’t met before. As they continued playing, the two Golden Retrievers’ owners were discussing their dogs’ pasts. After a few exchanges about the dogs’ adoptions, the owners had a surprising discovery.

It turned out that the two dogs’ adoption took place from the same place and time. The tattoos from the golden retrievers’ spay scars were also proof that they shared a lot of things in common. Both dogs were born in Russia and brought to the United States by an animal rescue organization. Two different families adopted these dog siblings. The adoption was the reason they got separated.

The two dogs gleefully made up for the lost time. They were rolling around and enjoying each other’s company. Their owners also exchanged contact information. They made sure that these two dog siblings would have a regular playdate.

Pam was able to capture the touching reunion on camera. The video went viral, and many Facebook users were moved by how these two pups recognized each other. These adorable dogs reunited unexpectedly.

Here’s the video of their unforgettable reunion:

Talented Service Dog Loves To Play Jenga

A black and white dog sitting on a chair.

Dogs are always fun to have. Their cuteness can brighten up a gloomy day, and their undying love proves just how loyal they are to their human parents. If you want a playmate who will never get tired of spending some quality time with you, dogs are your perfect match.

While dogs are known to be good at playing catch, there’s one service dog who recently captured everyone’s heart. She did more than just catching things in her mouth. She was also skilled at playing Jenga, a classic game that involved wooden blocks. Secret, a smart Australian Shepherd, is a service dog to a young woman named Mary.

Mary taught Jenga to Secret, and when she finally got the hang of it, both of them played this balancing game. As seen in the video, you could tell how happy Secret was in playing the game of precision. At first, Mary expected Secret to nibble the wooden pieces. She couldn’t believe how good the service dog was at Jenga.

It took a little while for Secret to make a move because she made sure that she carefully picked the block in her mouth. She knew that patience is a virtue, especially when it comes to Jenga. She stayed in the game as her wooden tower never tumbled when it was her turn to move the blocks. Secret’s primary task as a service dog, is to assist Mary with her autism.

Secret accompanied Mary to community college classes. For years Secret has been helping Mary, and they had already become inseparable best friends. Without a doubt, Secret has a natural talent for playing Jenga.

Aside from playing Jenga, Secret is also a skilled painter. Mary noted on her social media account that Secret is good at everything. Her canine capabilities proved that she’s a multi-talented service dog.

Dogs make excellent pets and companions. But there are specially trained dogs that can help humans live a better and healthier lifestyle despite their disabilities and medical conditions. For Emily, a teen with diabetes type 1, having a service dog would be the ultimate gift!

The struggle with diabetes

Emily Setterstrom is a 16-year-old girl who has lived with diabetes since she was in kindergarten. Her mom, Jennifer, worries about Emily a lot because she already lost her brother to diabetes.

Jennifer and Emily guested on Good Morning America to talk about diabetes. Emily’s condition has made life quite a struggle. A sudden spike in her sugar levels can be fatally dangerous for her. Emily always needs her insulin pump handy for emergencies. If she happens to forget her insulin, she knows anything could happen to her, so Emily always tries to be responsible. Still, Jennifer can’t help but worry, especially now that Emily is about to go to college.

Emily receives the best gift

What they didn’t know was that 4E Kennels, an organization that breeds and trains service dogs for people with medical conditions, was also there to give Emily the ultimate gift: a diabetic alert dog. The puppy will be trained for a year to detect Emily’s blood sugar level and alert her whenever it becomes too low or too high for her.

The moment Emily and Jennifer saw the cute adorable dog, tears welled in their eyes. 4E Kennels explained how the dog would help Emily deal with diabetes so that she could live a normal and healthy life. Even better, they are giving the puppy to Emily as a gift. Knowing that diabetic alert dogs are costly, the puppy comes as a beautiful and heartwarming surprise.

Emily can go off to college on her own and still manage her diabetes with the help of her new furry best friend. Watch the epic reactions in the video below.

Exhausted Pooch Hilariously Falls Asleep On Stairway

A french bulldog is laying down on a couch.

After spending a long and tiring day, isn’t it great to step away from the crowd to lie comfortably on our beds? Since we’re living beings, we need to recharge our bodies with the energy it needs to perform the tasks we need to do.

With this, a playful puppy decides to call it a day and roam towards its sleeping quarters. However, it seems the pooch’s tired from all the frenzied activity it did as it accidentally falls asleep in the middle of their stairway.

I’m so tired.

In this short yet funny video clip, a cute puppy stands in the middle of a steep staircase. At first, you’ll think that the pooch’s taking a glance at something it found interesting on the carpeted step.

However, you’ll soon notice that the puppy isn’t moving from its current position. It’s as if the pooch became a statue glued to the stairway the moment it stepped foot on it.

As the camera focuses on the pooch, everything becomes more evident. It turns out; the puppy fell asleep on the stairway with half of its body resting on the top step, while its lower body dangles on the lower one.

I’m awake; I’m awake!

For a few seconds, the exhausted puppy continued snoozing in the same awkward position. Though the pup’s position is a bit precarious, it seems the pooch doesn’t care at all, so long as it recovers some of its energy back.

Suddenly, one can hear a banging noise in the background. The loud sound ultimately woke the dog-tired pooch, finally bringing him back to his senses. Though he’s a bit disoriented, the pooch manages to readjust into a more comfortable position.

But, do you think the tired puppy made it to his doggy bed? If you can’t wait to see the ending, then you should click the play button in the video linked below.

Senior Pit Bull Gets More Than 500 Cards For His Birthday And Our Hearts Are Melting

A white and black dog laying on the floor.

Truffles has been living in a shelter for years. It is a sad thing for this American pit bull terrier mix.

Truffles was just four years old when she was taken in by the Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center in NYC. Valerie Sanks is one of the volunteers there who helps take care of the dog.

It has been three years of caring for the dog. Valerie knows Truffles too well. She says that she sees Truffles as a real angel. She says that just by looking at the dog’s white and black coat and her sweet demeanor, one can easily fall for the animal.

In 2017, after being in the shelter for 3 years, Truffles found a family who would adopt her. She was good with kids. Her new house gave her a good life.

Two years after though, Truffles’ owners didn’t want her anymore so she was brought back to the shelter. It was a sad affair and Valerie was there to welcome her back. She made sure that she gave Truffles a lot of love.

Valerie was happy to be reunited with Truffles but in her heart, she knew that being a senior dog, Truffles may have the least chance of getting adopted. So with the dog’s 10th birthday nearing, Valerie had an idea of how she could get Truffles some love.

Truffles got a hotel suite for a sleepover party. She wore a princess costume and had famous photographer Sophie Gamand for a birthday photoshoot.

Sophie was happy to help and shared photos of Truffles on social media. She even asked people to send Truffles birthday cards. Truffles isn’t into toys and she has a special diet so other gifts may not be good for her.

Sophie’s post became viral and the shelter received more than 500 cards on behalf of Truffles!

This Super Dog Survived Two Near-Death Experiences

A black and tan dog running in a dirt field.

After getting bitten by another dog, Nova was put to death row by the animal shelter she was surrendered to. The reason for this abrupt decision on the part of the animal shelter is that the wounds of the dog are severe and untreatable.

Thankfully, though, an animal shelter known as the Love Leo Rescue heard about the dog’s ordeal. When the animal shelter learned that Nova would be euthanized, they decided to rescue the pooch.

When one of the volunteers successfully rescued Nova, she immediately brought the dog to a veterinarian to have Nova’s condition checked. The dog’s face appeared to be swollen because of the dog bite. Even then, Nova seemed happy that she got rescued.

The veterinarian gave Nova IV fluids for anti-bacterial purposes. The dog needed to stay in the clinic for quite a while so that her other issues will be resolved. When her health and wounds improved, Nova was ready to go home.

It was a blessing for the dog that there was a foster home waiting for her. The purpose of the foster home is for the dog to get accustomed to a family before moving to her new one. In her new home, the dog showed her other side. She was a happy and active pooch.

A few weeks into the foster home, though, the dog got sick again. When she was brought to the clinic, Nova got diagnosed with Parvovirus, a deadly virus among dogs.

Due to the virus, Nova’s health declined drastically over her stay in the hospital. Thankfully, though, the dog was a fighter and survived.
Along with her third chance at life, Nova received the good news that she will have a new forever home. Cristina and Chelsea will be Nova’s new parents. The two closely monitored the journey of Nova, and they fell in love with the dog’s story of resurgence.

Piano-Playing Pooch Jams With Little Human Sis

A brown and white dog laying on the carpet.

Some of the cutest and most adorable videos that you can see online are either clips of babies and toddlers or dogs. Both say and do the darndest things. Train a camera on either of them, and it’s just a matter of time before you get a gem of a clip. It’s even more fantastic if you can get both of them to star in your short film.

Such is the case of this Beagle/Basset Hound mix playing the piano with a toddler! If you can only see one video today, this should be the one that you should watch.

Making the band

The video starts with a little girl running into a room carrying a toy guitar. She turns on the toy and it starts playing music to which she dances to. The dog, named Buddy Mercury, hearing the music, walks over to the piano and starts playing it. He even sings along as well.

The unlikely bandmates continue jamming. Buddy would hit a key and starts to sing after each one, while the little girl continues to do a little jig to the music in the background. After they play, Buddy receives a treat from his dad and the little girl asks for one as well.

This is not their first viral video. Buddy and his little sis have their own YouTube channel where many of their previous performances can be viewed. The dog’s parents say that Buddy plays and sings every day, and they are lucky to have Buddy as their dog as he makes them happy.

Buddy is now an internet sensation and his story has been reported in various news networks. His love for music serves as an inspiration for others to adopt dogs from shelter as Buddy himself is a rescue. The parents hope that through their various social media presence, they can show how precious a rescue dog can be.
