Guy Leases Billboard So Everyone Will Know It’s His Dog’s Birthday

People have different ways to remember and celebrate their pet’s birthday, but this man amazingly wins the throne for the most extra dog owner of all-time!

Well, Maxx Chewning just rented a massive billboard with a birthday greeting for everyone to know that it is his dog’s first birthday.

The billboard company said that it was the first time that someone asked them to make a billboard like that.

He chose to spend his money on his four-legged buddy. He doesn’t have a girlfriend to shower with presents, so he thought he might as well spend it on his dog.

In the video, Maxx shows his dog, Dood, his huge billboard display after going for a day walk.

Apparently, Maxx looked more excited than Dood to see the massive billboard, but you would notice that the adorable dog was having a great day too.

Maxx adoringly talks about how his dog has a significant impact on his life. He said that Dood changed his life, and it was one of the greatest things that happened to him. Maxx added that Dood brings so much happiness to him every single day.

After the video of their day out, Maxx plays a sweet montage of his pup friend recording their moments together. It has been watched over 118,000 times on YouTube.

Some supportive viewers were greeting Dood a happy birthday. They were delighted and left in tears after watching the montage. They were glad for Maxx and his dog because they appreciate how Dood has a positive impact on his owner.

One of the comments said that he was thankful for them because the duo gives so much happiness on his day.

Dog Sits On The Porch All Day To Wait For His Brother To Come Home

A boy and his pet dog – there is just nothing more traditional than this. For generations now, there have been tons of stories, poems, arts, and movies that have depicted this relationship over and over again. Why? Because it’s a perfect representation of a pure and innocent relationship. Dogs have played crucial roles in the childhood of many boys and girls for that matter. They are among their first best friends, their constant companions, and playmates.

The bond that they create as they grow up is so amazing and adorable to witness. It’s like they are indeed siblings. The relationship blooms to something more profound than blood relations. That seems to be the case between Nala, a lovable, playful dog, and her human brother Russell.

I will be right here

According to their mom, Nala sits and stays at the porch patiently every day, waiting for Russell to come home from school. In the video below, which has gained more than a million views already, Nala can be seen calmly sitting at the porch while her mom films her by the side. Nala looks longingly at the driveway, waiting for the familiar yellow school bus to drive up. She knows that Russell would be on the bus, and they would be together again.

Slowly, the bus comes into view, and Nala’s ears twitch. She stands and moves closer to the steps, looking to make sure that it is indeed Russell who is coming out of the bus. And as Russell descends, he shouts and calls out his dog’s name. Without any hesitation, Nala leaps down the steps and runs towards Russell, who is now crouched on the driveway, waiting to give Nala a big hug.

Nala is all over her little brother. They greet each other and play for a bit. It’s a very sweet scene that just exudes genuine love. Russell even asks Nala if she missed him, and we all know the answer to that. Watch their lovable interaction below.

Husky Denied By Breeder For Her Looks Is Now Famous

Dogs hold a precious place in our hearts. This is evident in how we go “aww” whenever we see these adorable pooches. There’s just no resisting those wagging tails and derpy fluffs.

While a lot of dogs are blessed with loving families, some of them end up with humans that don’t treat them fairly. These poor canines often get beaten up, neglected, and left on the streets to live as strays.

There are different reasons why these things happen to these dogs. For some, it’s a matter of ending up with humans that love seeing animals suffer. Dogs that are neglected often have a lot to do with having owners that don’t lack the financial capacity to support their daily needs. There are also cases where families neglect dogs because of what they look like.

The cross-eyed Husky

Such is the case of Jubilee, the cross-eyed Husky. Her breeder rejected her because he didn’t like the way she looked. She was turned over to a dog shelter, but volunteers had a hard time looking for a family that would adopt her. Nobody wanted her because of the way she looked.

Caroline Hilliard, a volunteer who used to spend lots of time with Jubilee, wondered why that was so. For her, Jubilee’s personality trumps the way she looks. The dog has a beautiful personality. She’s obedient, sweet, and very loving. Jubilee can be a tad bit shy at times, but she loves receiving hugs and belly rubs from everyone.

The search continues

Determined to help Jubilee find her forever home, Hilliard uploaded her photo online. Interested parties from different parts of the world shared her photo on various social media platforms, putting her on the list of famous dogs online. Her picture has been shared over 32,000 times.

Volunteers at the shelter wanted to make sure that Jubilee would end up with the right family. They required home visits before accepting applications from interested parties. That being the case, those who lived too far from the shelter were automatically eliminated from the list.

Then came the perfect family for Jubilee. What the breeder saw as Jubilee’s imperfections were the very things that made them fall in love with her. After getting the approval from the shelter, they went home with the beautiful Jubilee.

Dog Who Has Been Through A Lot Is Now All Smiles

It is upsetting to see how pain can destroy the spirit of a person (or even an animal). At the hands of someone who is cruel, a jolly person (or animal) can soon turn miserable. At the same time, it is amazing how love can change a person (or even an animal). Given the right amount of time and affection, a being that has suffered a lot can heal and eventually be capable of returning that love.

Such is the case for a dog, which has gone through a lot at the hands of, at least, two evil human beings. The dog was rescued one April day after it became the victim in a hit-and-run incident that rendered it unable to walk. Upon further examination, rescuers learned that the dog also had a bullet wound in his right leg.

Succumbing to his fate

Animal control officers took the dog, which was later named Sanford, to a municipal shelter in Dallas, Texas. Sanford stayed there for a week. But since the municipal shelter was small and did not have enough resources, he did not receive any medical treatment there.

Seemingly resigning himself to his fate, the dejected Sanford spent his days at the shelter unwilling to interact with humans. Some people who saw him at this state even thought that he had given up on life and was only waiting for his time. Fortunately for Sanford, there was one human who refused to give up on him.

A new lease on life

Volunteering for local dog rescue group Dallas DogRRR, Karen Velasquez took one look at Sanford and immediately knew she needed to help him. Just a few days after Sanford was discharged from the hospital, Velasquez brought him home with her.

Going into foster care with Velasquez, Sanford’s disposition in life changed drastically. Now, Sanford cannot stop smiling and expressing his gratitude for his temporary owner. Velasquez said that out of the 52 pets she has fostered, Sanford is the only one to look at her differently, but in a good way.

Velasquez adds that the only time Sanford stops smiling is when he sleeps or eats. Indeed, the realization that he is finally in a safe place, with home-cooked meals to eat at that, made Sanford very grateful for getting a new lease on life.

But at the age of 10, Sanford still needs a more permanent home. Dallas DogRRR is exhausting all efforts to see that Sanford is adopted by a loving family. Rescue Dog Celebrates An Unforgettable Third Birthday

Boris, a lovable Pit Bull, was once a shelter dog who was looking for a family to give him a forever home. Before he was adopted, he had a skin disease due to mites. A few years after his adoption, Boris had a fantastic transformation. He had turned into a healthy dog who was also famous on Instagram.

His parents wanted him to have a memorable 3rd birthday. They spoiled him more by arranging the best birthday party. He was one lucky dog. Alley and Alex Bardon fell in love with Boris when they first met him at the rescue. It was in 2017 when they decided to give Boris a loving home. It didn’t take long for Bardons to consider Boris as a part of their family.

Before they adopted Boris, they made sure he was neutered. Alex and Alley knew from the start that Boris was a special dog. They thought about having a full-on birthday party for their dog. They invited 15 guests and gave Boris a sweet peanut butter cake from Treats Unleashed.

The guests at Boris’ birthday party wore custom shirts with his face printed on them. He also had plenty of birthday outfits, which included a bandana and hat. Alley and Alex made sure that Boris would have a blast on his birthday, so they invited a photographer to capture the beautiful moment.

The extravagant party didn’t cost Alley and Alex too much money as they used other means like trading Alley’s art. For them, Boris’ happiness was priceless. All of the photos taken during Boris’ birthday party were shared on his Instagram account. There were also photos of Boris in different outfits.

The photos showed how happy Boris was. His Instagram account has over 40,000 followers, and his parents expect the number to increase. Even sponsors couldn’t resist the dog’s charm. He gets a lot of free dog supplies because of his sponsorship deals. There’s no doubt that Boris enjoys a life filled with love.

Husky With Goofy Eyes Gets Adopted, Thanks To Social Media

Breeders are where you can find the best dog breeds with good lineages. However, these breeders sometimes don’t care about the dogs that are in their care and only see them as the product that they have to sell. When something isn’t perfect about a dog they breed, they often bring them to shelters since they only care for the dogs they can profit from. This is what happened to a Siberian Husky from New Jersey who captured thousands of hearts through social media.

A Siberian Husky named Jubilee was left at the Husky House shelter in New Jersey when she was two years old by some breeders. Their reason for this was that the pooch looked ‘weird’ and that they couldn’t sell her. The pooch was born with an eyelid deformity that makes her look surprised all the time. Aside from her appearance, there was nothing physically wrong with the doggie at all.

The shelter took the doggie in with open arms and took to social media in hopes of finding Jubilee her forever home. Little did the shelter staff know that the story of the pooch they took in would go viral online.

Online sensation

After the Husky House posted pictures and the story of Jubilee on their Facebook page, thousands of people were touched by her story. They even commented on how beautiful the doggo was and how special she was to them.

All that attention that Jubilee got because of the shelter’s posts on social media was nothing compared to finding the dog the best family for her. There were over a hundred applicants who wanted to adopt the adorable Husky, and through all that, the shelter was finally able to place the pooch with the best one. This goes to show that different doesn’t mean weird, and dogs like these shouldn’t be tossed aside because of this.

Diabetic Teen Can’t Contain Her Emotions After Getting Her Own Diabetic Alert Dog

Dogs make excellent pets and companions. But there are specially trained dogs that can help humans live a better and healthier lifestyle despite their disabilities and medical conditions. For Emily, a teen with diabetes type 1, having a service dog would be the ultimate gift!

The struggle with diabetes

Emily Setterstrom is a 16-year-old girl who has lived with diabetes since she was in kindergarten. Her mom, Jennifer, worries about Emily a lot because she already lost her brother to diabetes.

Jennifer and Emily guested on Good Morning America to talk about diabetes. Emily’s condition has made life quite a struggle. A sudden spike in her sugar levels can be fatally dangerous for her. Emily always needs her insulin pump handy for emergencies. If she happens to forget her insulin, she knows anything could happen to her, so Emily always tries to be responsible. Still, Jennifer can’t help but worry, especially now that Emily is about to go to college.

Emily receives the best gift

What they didn’t know was that 4E Kennels, an organization that breeds and trains service dogs for people with medical conditions, was also there to give Emily the ultimate gift: a diabetic alert dog. The puppy will be trained for a year to detect Emily’s blood sugar level and alert her whenever it becomes too low or too high for her.

The moment Emily and Jennifer saw the cute adorable dog, tears welled in their eyes. 4E Kennels explained how the dog would help Emily deal with diabetes so that she could live a normal and healthy life. Even better, they are giving the puppy to Emily as a gift. Knowing that diabetic alert dogs are costly, the puppy comes as a beautiful and heartwarming surprise.

When the puppy finishes his training, he will come to live with Emily. Jennifer is so happy knowing that her daughter will have someone to depend on.
