Puppy Lives Miraculously And Grows Up To Be A Big Pit Bull

A brown and white dog is sitting in the grass.

If there’s one thing that inspiring animal stories teach us the most, it’s not giving up too early. There are countless puppy survivors out there who had managed to bounce back because their owner refused to give up. Here is one of those stories. Let’s meet Guinness the pit bull.

A dog was surrendered to an animal shelter three days before giving birth. That’s when little Guinness came to the world. Jess Vorberg, his current owner, noticed that there was something different about him. Guinness was half the size of the other puppies. Jess recalls taking pictures of Guinness where he looks like a tiny alien baby.

They also noticed that Guinness’ health was declining. He had difficulty breathing and was making odd movements with his mouth. Jess feared that the puppy wouldn’t live for long.

It came to a point where the puppy stopped breathing. Jess had to perform CPR. It worked, and Guinness was fighting for life.

Jess informed her boss about what happened and asked if she could take care of Guinness and fight with him. Jess made sure to prepare and get the little puppy everything he needed.

When Guinness first drank milk, it was magical. He drank like there’s no tomorrow. Jess expresses how happy she is about the decision she made. She ended up adopting Guinness’ sister as well. Jess noticed the two puppies had the same struggle although the sister is twice the size of Guinness.

They noticed how Guinness struggles to walk. At first, he relied on his front legs dragging his back legs. From time to time, Jess trained Guinness’ back legs by positioning him upright with care.

As Guinness grew up, it became clearer and more apparent to Emily how she wouldn’t let go of her dog. She found what she likes to call her “soul dog.” After several months Guinness has become a wonderful and energetic pit bull.

Lost Dog Finally Goes Home After Two Months Of Living A Street Life

A family with a white dog sitting on a chair.

In April of this year, a family living in Turkey had their hearts shattered after their sweet pooch named Leo had gone missing. They searched in all directions, but their efforts were all put in vain. Then, everything surprisingly changed.

About two weeks ago, Sertac Arac, Leo’s human brother, went to visit another town for work. While it’s not that far, it takes approximately an hour drive from their home. Sertac was out with his work colleagues when he spotted something that strangely looked familiar not too far away. Out on the street was a white dog that looked exceptionally similar to their missing pet.

The “stray pup” was resting outside a particular café store when Sertac saw it. It looked unkempt and is clearly stressed with street life. Though completely hesitant, Sertac took out his phone and snapped a photo of the seemingly homeless dog and sent it to his mom and dad.

“I took a picture and sent it to my mother and father,” said Sertac. Still, he admitted that it was very unlikely that the dog was their Leo. It just seemed too impossible for the dog to have made it that far. “I was completely in doubt,” he added.

On the littlest chance that the untidy dog was really the family’s missing pet, Sertac’s parents made the decision to drive and check the spot where Leo was found. They ought to see for themselves if the homeless dog was, in fact, their missing pet. And what occurred next erased all the doubts the family had.

In an instant, Leo recognized his loving family. After 2 months of being away from home living a difficult life on the streets, Leo was obviously overjoyed that he’s finally been found. And similarly, his family couldn’t be any happier for finding him. The lost pup is now heading home.

Leo’s story had a happy ending. And he truly deserves to be. But more than that, it gave his family hope.

About the same time Leo had gone missing, two more dogs of Sertac’s family also mysteriously disappeared. Suspecting it was the work of the dognappers in their town, they lost hope that their furry family members will still be found. But now that Leo’s home, the family’s faith returned that one of these days, their 2 other pups will be back home.

Service Dog Helps His Mom With Almost Everything

A dog is standing on a table in a room.

It is hard to go through a major health problem that leaves you unable to control your body or even take care of yourself properly without having to ask help from others all the time. This same thing can be said for this woman after her brain injury. Luckily, she was able to find help in her service dog to make things much easier for her.

Helping out his mom

Colt is a very special service dog who was specifically trained for a specific person –  his mom. This is because his human suffered from a major brain injury that has left her not only having difficulty walking but also experiencing seizures and fainting. She is also currently using a wheelchair since she is still undergoing physical therapy for her to be able to walk properly again.

More than a companion

Because of this, Colt has been not only a companion for her but also the best helper that she could ever ask for. He brings her anything she may need and can even open up the refrigerator to get her a drink or some food. But the most important role that Colt plays is seizure patrol.

When seizures occur

Colt like most dogs have very sensitive senses. This sensitivity helps him predict when his mom is about to have a seizure. When it comes, he knows just what to do to get his mom out of that state. He licks her arms and face to help wake her up. He even gives her pressure therapy by laying on her while he listens to her heartbeat. Once the seizure subsides, he is also able to get her the medication that she needs without her having to strain herself to stand up from the bed.

Although he is still a regular dog that has his goofy and playful moments, he is always there to be relied on whenever he is needed.

Service Dog Saves Blind Woman From Getting Hit By A Bus

A golden retriever is laying on the floor in a room.

Service dogs are there to help the people who are in need lead safe and as normal lives as their disabilities can allow them to. They are guides that help their companions to steer clear of obstacles as they walk. However, this particular service dog has gone above and beyond his service to save the life of his charge.

A speeding bus

Figo is an eight-year-old Golden Retriever who is the latest companion and service dog for Audrey Stone who is legally blind. They were simply crossing the street when suddenly the dog noticed that there was a bus speeding towards them while they walked. This is when Figo immediately switched to the other side of Audrey to put himself in between his companion and the danger.

Heroic dog

This caused injuries to both dog and owner but luckily, both of them survived. Figo’s front legs were run over by the bus’ wheel and had to undergo surgery to prevent him from losing his legs. However, it is because of this incredibly heroic pooch that both of them have made it through that horrible accident. The police say that the service dog did not even cry out in pain but waited by his companion until she was able to get the help she needed.

Road to recovery

Today, both Figo and Audrey are on their way to recovering from the injuries that they sustained that day. But you could see it in the face of Figo that he is still happy and cheerful even if both his front legs are plastered. All his just waiting for now is to be reunited with his companion again.

Service dogs can do a lot of things to help those who are in need of them. But thanks to Figo, you can really see that these dogs can go above and beyond their training just to help their companion in need.

Doggy Brother Breaks Up A Fight Between His Siblings

Three white dogs are playing on a brown couch.

When you have multiple dogs in your family, there will be times that their rough-housing may turn into a scuffle. This is something normal that all dogs do. But for one of the pooches in this video, every dog should just always play nice.

Playing rough

There will be times when your dogs would play a bit rough with each other. They would nip at each other’s ears and legs and even wrestle. Most of the time, this type of play is perfectly harmless. It may just sound like it isn’t.

Barking dog

For this particular multi-dog family, two younger puppies were caught doing just that. They were quite at first with the bigger puppy trying to get a hold of his little brothers leg. However, even if his brother was bigger than him, the other little puppy was not having any of it. This is when the barking started.

Standoff

The little dog was fierce as he tried to get dominance over his big brother. He was even standing on his hind legs to get the upper hand while he barked his protest. But luckily, this standoff between to two pups would immediately come to a stop.

Big brother to the rescue

As the noise from the fight grew louder, this caught the attention of the pup’s bigger brother. A toy poodle who was a bit older than them. He came into the room where the two were at and promptly sat on the couch where their tussle was happening.

Stopping the fight

He then put a stop to their fight at once. You could see him barking at the bigger dog as if he was telling the younger pup that they should know better than that. Even after the young puppies were already calm, he still was barking at them probably to tell them off about their behavior. This only shows why it is better having more than one dog in your home, the dogs are there for each other to help them become better.

Special Needs Dog Grows Up With Special Need Siblings

A white puppy is laying on a wooden deck.

This beautiful dog never had a chance to feel different as he was with a family that made sure he never feels it. The first part of Ghost’s life was one of struggle and pain. He had a big open wound in his leg which caused a full-body infection.

He was put on the euthanasia list and was thankfully rescued. They had to amputate his leg first to stop the spread of infection to his bones. His foster parents, Heather and Kabrina Marchant thought that they had a very sick dog in their hands and would need special care for weeks.

He seemed lifeless and could not even lift his head. They were wrong. Like a real pitbull, he was up and hanging out with the crew within twenty-four hours.

Ghost was lucky as his foster siblings were special needs pitties too and they made sure that Ghost never feels alone. When they play with Ghost, they even make sure to do it gently. Ghost’s luck did not run out too as his foster parents found him the perfect family.

Matt McCready could think of his friends from the army who also had lost their limbs when he looks at Ghost. Matt wants to make sure that he can provide Ghost the best life imaginable. Ghost mom, Jessica Sulco is a dance teacher and brought him to the studio, and everybody loves him.

That’s when Matt had an idea to make him a service dog. With the memories of his friends and the fact that Ghost is good with people, Ghost is living proof that no matter what you go through, you can always move on.

Ghost is the perfect addition to their family. He even gets a kitten for a sibling, and they are inseparable! He finally gets a life that he deserves.

This Tiny Dog Is An Inspiration

A french bulldog standing on a rock.

Every life, no matter how tiny, matters. This little puppy drinks water from a hamster bottle. He looks more like a very small guinea pig than an actual dog.

That’s how tiny Auggie is. This French Bulldog was born with a cleft palate, and his breeder has tube fed him for three weeks. When a breeder does not want to care for their dogs anymore, they contact S.N.O.R.T or Short Noses Only Rescue Team. This organization takes in any pug, Boston terriers, French bulldogs, and English bulldogs.

That’s how Meghan Debiasio got Auggie. She got him when he was only three and a half weeks old. When she first saw him, he was so tiny that he looked like a newborn puppy. But there was no excitement from him, no tail wagging whatsoever.

Under Meghan’s care, Auggie grew in size, but there were more problems than just his height. He seems to have neurological issues as there is never a normal interaction when it comes to him.

But this tiny dog is the sweetest. He would always sleep in his mom’s neck like a parrot. That’s where he nuzzles up every night when he goes to bed. When it comes to dog interaction, he has a hard time keeping up, but he found a friend in Juno.

It’s amazing how Juno would allow him to nuzzle up to her. She doesn’t seem to mind. One thing that is very noticeable with them, is their size. Auggie’s lack of size he makes up for in spirit.

You still see him fight every day, and every day he improves. The dog who people thought would not make it is thriving. And he continues to grow every single day.

He fights to live, and he fights to be happy.
