I Tricked My Owner In Building A Short Fence

A dog is leaning over a fence.

How to keep your dog away from the neighbor’s garden or outside your lawn? There are straightforward solutions for that. You can either use a dog cage or build a fence around your house.

dog, puppy, collie

I choose the latter, especially if you have a vast backyard or a spacious lawn in front of your house. Just make sure that you build the fences that are high enough that your dog will not be able to jump over it. Rusty Graves did just that.

Rusty has a dog named Stella and kept her in a cage. Her owner wanted to change her current situation and decided to build a fence around his place. Before he spent his time building the wall at his backyard, he let dog her named Stella jump first on a baby gate of her cage.

He continued to adjust the height to get the perfect measurement that she cannot reach. He was able to find the correct and decided to add six inches high from the usual size of the baby gate. He made sure that the plan will correctly push through.

He spent ample time and effort in constructing it on his own. When he was able to finish in building the wooden fences, so he wanted to capture the moment for the big reveal for his favorite pet. He took a video of the fully built wooden wall as he admired it from afar.

When he opened the door from his house to do the big reveal to her dog Stella, she instantly rushed out and ran towards the newly built fence. Rust Graves had a surprise of his life. Stella quickly jumped over it.

Then, her owner suddenly realized how his dog tricked her in building short fences. In a short video with 18 seconds on it, you can hear how proud Rusty was to his masterpiece and how fast his enthusiasm lasted.

But she will not back out to the challenge and planned the perfect toy for her energetic pet. She posted a video that shows the ideal plaything that she had purposely made for Bella. It was simple but heavily thought off.

In the video, you will see that there are three bottles pierced on a metal rod attached to a wooden stand. Inside each bottle, it contains dog food, which is Bella’s favorite snack. Using her favorite treat made her engaged in the toy for sure.

For her to manage to get her favorite snack, she needs to learn how to turn the bottle. As the video continues, you can see her effort in turning one bottle at a time. At her first attempt, she used her paw to push the bottle up, but her force is too weak.

Then she tried to use her nose to move it but failed as well. However, that does not stop her there. She continued in rotating each bottle until she gets what she wants.

After multiple attempts, she was able to accomplish her goal. Some of the feasts fall out of the bottle. Once it fell on the ground, she will get her snack as soon as possible. Feeling rewarded to her effort, she goes on playing the bottle to get more of it.

Loyal Dog Helps Tow Truck Driver Rescue His Owner

A dog sits on the side of the road with a sign that says hamburg.

Tow truck driver, Martin Hall, Jr., was heading out to Mariposa, CA, when he noticed a black dog sitting in the middle of the road. A leash was still attached to the dog’s collar. He tried calling the dog, but it won’t come to him.

Hall attempted to feed the dog with his peanut butter and jelly sandwich and offered his water, but his efforts were futile. The dog wouldn’t budge. The truck driver started to sense that something was not quite right.

He had no idea what could be going on. The dog was sitting on a dirt road out in the middle of nowhere. He began to look around and noticed some possible clues in the nearby bush. A flashlight was also found not far from the dog.

While Hall was doing some investigation, he saw that the dog hasn’t moved. He then heard someone yelling from the woods not far from where he stands. He went to check on it right away.

He discovered an elderly man lying in the dirt, just a short walk from the road. A dog was beside him. He asked the man for his dog’s name and was told that its name was Chico.

The man had fallen at an embankment and suffered a broken hip. Chico had been protecting him while the other dog stayed on the road waiting for a passerby who may be able to help them. According to the elderly man, He had been lying in there for 10 hours before Hall found him. It was pure luck, they agreed,  as Hall was on that road only by accident.

Hall called for help, and the man was rescued right away. He caught the encounter on video and posted this. Since then, Hall and his family have been receiving a lot of thanks from the community for saving the elderly man. But it’s not just Hall who made everything happen. It was the loyalty of his dogs that prompted the action.

Puppy Imitates His Brother As He Hops Down The Stairs

A dog is walking up a set of stairs.

One day in August, Bowie, a 2-year-old dog, lost a leg because of health problems. Because of that, he had to learn to do everything again with only three legs. His family has been there to help him. One of the things that he had to relearn was going taking the stairs. Bowie learned to lean on the wall as he hops his way down.

Come January, Bowie already had adjusted to having three legs. It was also the month that a new puppy came and became a member of their family. This dog was Zeppelin.

Zeppelin and Bowie became fast friends. Karisa Maxwell, the dogs’ mom, said that these two dogs always do things together even if they have other dog siblings.

Karisa said that they were concerned that Zeppelin may become too big for Bowie. But despite that, Zeppelin continued to be gentle with Bowie. She even became his protector and playmate.

Zeppelin still looked at Bowie as her big brother. She would follow what he does.

Karisa said that they observed Zeppelin hopping as she came down the stairs and they thought it was because she had short legs. But as she grew big, she still continued to do just that. That was when they realized that Zeppelin was just imitating what Bowie does on his three legs.

Karisa and the rest of the family tried to help Zeppelin with this habit. They wanted to show her that she can go down the stairs without hopping because she has four legs. They even showed her how to do it. But Zeppelin would just look at them in confusion.

Up until now, Karisa says that Zeppelin still goes down the stairs just like her brother Bowie does. Hopping down the stairs is her and Bowie’s thing and we think that’s what is normal for them.

Husky With Goofy Eyes Gets Adopted, Thanks To Social Media

A dog with its mouth open is standing in a room.

Breeders are where you can find the best dog breeds with good lineages. However, these breeders sometimes don’t care about the dogs that are in their care and only see them as the product that they have to sell. When something isn’t perfect about a dog they breed, they often bring them to shelters since they only care for the dogs they can profit from. This is what happened to a Siberian Husky from New Jersey who captured thousands of hearts through social media.

Goofy dog

A Siberian Husky named Jubilee was left at the Husky House shelter in New Jersey when she was two years old by some breeders. Their reason for this was that the pooch looked ‘weird’ and that they couldn’t sell her. The pooch was born with an eyelid deformity that makes her look surprised all the time. Aside from her appearance, there was nothing physically wrong with the doggie at all.

The shelter took the doggie in with open arms and took to social media in hopes of finding Jubilee her forever home. Little did the shelter staff know that the story of the pooch they took in would go viral online.

Online sensation

After the Husky House posted pictures and the story of Jubilee on their Facebook page, thousands of people were touched by her story. They even commented on how beautiful the doggo was and how special she was to them.

All that attention that Jubilee got because of the shelter’s posts on social media was nothing compared to finding the dog the best family for her. There were over a hundred applicants who wanted to adopt the adorable Husky, and through all that, the shelter was finally able to place the pooch with the best one. This goes to show that different doesn’t mean weird, and dogs like these shouldn’t be tossed aside because of this.

Talented Service Dog Loves To Play Jenga

A black and white dog sitting on a chair.

Dogs are always fun to have. Their cuteness can brighten up a gloomy day, and their undying love proves just how loyal they are to their human parents. If you want a playmate who will never get tired of spending some quality time with you, dogs are your perfect match.

While dogs are known to be good at playing catch, there’s one service dog who recently captured everyone’s heart. She did more than just catching things in her mouth. She was also skilled at playing Jenga, a classic game that involved wooden blocks. Secret, a smart Australian Shepherd, is a service dog to a young woman named Mary.

Mary taught Jenga to Secret, and when she finally got the hang of it, both of them played this balancing game. As seen in the video, you could tell how happy Secret was in playing the game of precision. At first, Mary expected Secret to nibble the wooden pieces. She couldn’t believe how good the service dog was at Jenga.

It took a little while for Secret to make a move because she made sure that she carefully picked the block in her mouth. She knew that patience is a virtue, especially when it comes to Jenga. She stayed in the game as her wooden tower never tumbled when it was her turn to move the blocks. Secret’s primary task as a service dog, is to assist Mary with her autism.

Secret accompanied Mary to community college classes. For years Secret has been helping Mary, and they had already become inseparable best friends. Without a doubt, Secret has a natural talent for playing Jenga.

Aside from playing Jenga, Secret is also a skilled painter. Mary noted on her social media account that Secret is good at everything. Her canine capabilities proved that she’s a multi-talented service dog.

Lost Dog Wanders Into A Prison, Gets VIP Treatment From The Inmates

A dog wearing a green backpack in front of a lake.

Soup, an English Setter, was out hunting for quails with his dad when he got distracted with a deer. Soup wandered into the woods and never returned. His parents never knew that he was getting the VIP treatment at a nearby prison.

Where is Soup?

Soup is an excellent hunting dog, but he gets easily distracted. So when he disappeared into the woods while he was out hunting with his dad, Michael Parker, his humans couldn’t help but worry. The Parkers searched for Soup everywhere, but the dog was never found.

Michael and his wife, Leigh, became more worried when they saw birds feeding on a creature’s carcass. They were thinking of the worst, and that it could be Soup’s dead body that the birds were feasting on. They were relieved to find out that it a deer’s body and not their baby, Soup.

The couple never stopped looking for the lost dog until a correctional officer called and informed them that Soup was at the prison the whole time. Apparently, Soup had lost his name tag, so the prison employees had no idea who the dog belongs to.

Soup’s memorable adventure at a prison

Meanwhile, Soup had completely charmed the inmates that they gave up their dinners so that he can eat. Soup fed on steak, roast beef, and peach cobblers. Apart from the delicious meals and the inmates’ undivided attention, Soup also had a huge yard to run in. He played basketball with some of the detainees and even bonded with the prison’s K-9s.

When Michael heard the news, he rushed to prison right away to collect his dog. Soup had the time of his life there, but he was also excited to go home with his dad. Michael whistled, and the dog came bounding towards him. Soup showered him with sweet kisses before leaping into the truck’s front seat.

Soup is now back home with his loving humans. The Parkers are meaning to go back to the prison to personally thank the inmates and the employees for looking after Soup. They’re also giving the warden a delicious pecan pie. Watch the story of Soup’s adventure in the video below.
