Guy Leases Billboard So Everyone Will Know It’s His Dog’s Birthday

People have different ways to remember and celebrate their pet’s birthday, but this man amazingly wins the throne for the most extra dog owner of all-time!

Well, Maxx Chewning just rented a massive billboard with a birthday greeting for everyone to know that it is his dog’s first birthday.

The billboard company said that it was the first time that someone asked them to make a billboard like that.

He chose to spend his money on his four-legged buddy. He doesn’t have a girlfriend to shower with presents, so he thought he might as well spend it on his dog.

In the video, Maxx shows his dog, Dood, his huge billboard display after going for a day walk.

Apparently, Maxx looked more excited than Dood to see the massive billboard, but you would notice that the adorable dog was having a great day too.

Maxx adoringly talks about how his dog has a significant impact on his life. He said that Dood changed his life, and it was one of the greatest things that happened to him. Maxx added that Dood brings so much happiness to him every single day.

After the video of their day out, Maxx plays a sweet montage of his pup friend recording their moments together. It has been watched over 118,000 times on YouTube.

Some supportive viewers were greeting Dood a happy birthday. They were delighted and left in tears after watching the montage. They were glad for Maxx and his dog because they appreciate how Dood has a positive impact on his owner.

One of the comments said that he was thankful for them because the duo gives so much happiness on his day.

Security Personnel Help Rescuers Save A Homeless German Shepherd

Hope For Paws received a call about a homeless German shepherd through their emergency hotline. The reporter said that it’d been months since the dog took refuge in the nearby medical center. No one knew if he was from around the area or if someone left him there.

Lisa Arturo asked the clinic staff to check with all of the patients to see if one of them owns the dog. They assured the rescuers that the dog was homeless and had been there for a very long time. So clearly, he wasn’t just lost.

As soon as the dog spotted the rescuers, he panicked. He ran in all directions, trying to keep a distance from everyone. Fortunately, Eldad Hagar managed to block him from running into the busy street.

Catching Mozart wasn’t easy. He’s a German shepherd, to begin with. There’s no saying if he’s used to having people around him or if he would automatically snap when a stranger tries to approach him.

The rescuers had to be extra careful, but they had to act quickly, too. As soon as the security personnel of the hospital noticed their efforts, they moved in swiftly and helped. One of the guards tried to coax the dog into the lot, while the others closed the gate.

With the help of the security guards, Eldad and Lisa secured the dog inside the yard. It was still a vast space, however, and the rescuers didn’t know whether the compound was obtained entirely or not. So Eldad had to work fast to catch the dog.

The gentle snare worked, and the rescuers secured Mozart. But they still had to place him in a crate for everyone’s safety, including Mozart’s. The first time they tried, the dog managed to run through the trap before they had a chance to close the back end. But they had him in the second time around.

The rescue team headed straight to the hospital, where Mozart received medical care and a soothing bath. But more than that, he received lots of love from his newfound friends. Soon, Mozart headed to his foster home at Coastal German Shepherd Rescue OC. He stayed with them until he left to be with his new forever family.

Severely Injured Stray German Shepherd Receives Help

A Good Samaritan reached out to Hope For Paws about a German shepherd trapped inside an industrial lot. No one knows how dangerous the area was, but it’s clearly not a safe place for a dog to stay in. Quickly, Lisa Arturo and JoAnn Wiltz headed out to the rescue location.

Once they arrived, Lisa and JoAnn immediately spotted the dog. The facility was closed, so she must have wandered in during the last time the gate was open. Residents claimed that the area was rarely used, and it would not be open again for a few more days.

Locked inside the lot with no access to food or water, the poor dog starved. And she’s severely dehydrated, too. Lisa tried to lure her out through a hole in the fencing, but the opening wasn’t big enough for her to fit.

The rescuers reached out to the property manager, but he won’t be available until the following morning. So instead of taking risks that might injure the dog, Lisa and JoAnn decided to leave some food and water. And they promised her that they’d be back to rescue her.

The next day, the rescuers came back to the scene, where the adorable pup waited by the gate for their arrival. Lisa and JoAnn quickly noticed that she limped. And the moment they took a closer look, they realized she had an embedded collar on her neck.

Because of the dog’s injury, Lisa decided not to use a leash. Instead, she coaxed her into a trap. Soon, they headed to the hospital for some much-needed medical care. On their way, Lisa named the sweet girl Elsa.

Elsa suffered wounds from the embedded collar. She also endured severe pain because of her broken foot. But with pain medication, antibiotics, and lots of love, Elsa started to feel much better.

A few days later, after her rescue, Elsa is happier and healthier than ever. Wags and Walks agreed to foster her, while Hope For Paws looks for the perfect loving family. And soon enough, Elsa left to start a new life in her new home.

I Tricked My Owner In Building A Short Fence

How to keep your dog away from the neighbor’s garden or outside your lawn? There are straightforward solutions for that. You can either use a dog cage or build a fence around your house.

I choose the latter, especially if you have a vast backyard or a spacious lawn in front of your house. Just make sure that you build the fences that are high enough that your dog will not be able to jump over it. Rusty Graves did just that.

Rusty has a dog named Stella and kept her in a cage. Her owner wanted to change her current situation and decided to build a fence around his place. Before he spent his time building the wall at his backyard, he let dog her named Stella jump first on a baby gate of her cage.

He continued to adjust the height to get the perfect measurement that she cannot reach. He was able to find the correct and decided to add six inches high from the usual size of the baby gate. He made sure that the plan will correctly push through.

He spent ample time and effort in constructing it on his own. When he was able to finish in building the wooden fences, so he wanted to capture the moment for the big reveal for his favorite pet. He took a video of the fully built wooden wall as he admired it from afar.

When he opened the door from his house to do the big reveal to her dog Stella, she instantly rushed out and ran towards the newly built fence. Rust Graves had a surprise of his life. Stella quickly jumped over it.

Then, her owner suddenly realized how his dog tricked her in building short fences. In a short video with 18 seconds on it, you can hear how proud Rusty was to his masterpiece and how fast his enthusiasm lasted.

Dog Who Has Been Through A Lot Is Now All Smiles

It is upsetting to see how pain can destroy the spirit of a person (or even an animal). At the hands of someone who is cruel, a jolly person (or animal) can soon turn miserable. At the same time, it is amazing how love can change a person (or even an animal). Given the right amount of time and affection, a being that has suffered a lot can heal and eventually be capable of returning that love.

Such is the case for a dog, which has gone through a lot at the hands of, at least, two evil human beings. The dog was rescued one April day after it became the victim in a hit-and-run incident that rendered it unable to walk. Upon further examination, rescuers learned that the dog also had a bullet wound in his right leg.

Succumbing to his fate

Animal control officers took the dog, which was later named Sanford, to a municipal shelter in Dallas, Texas. Sanford stayed there for a week. But since the municipal shelter was small and did not have enough resources, he did not receive any medical treatment there.

Seemingly resigning himself to his fate, the dejected Sanford spent his days at the shelter unwilling to interact with humans. Some people who saw him at this state even thought that he had given up on life and was only waiting for his time. Fortunately for Sanford, there was one human who refused to give up on him.

A new lease on life

Volunteering for local dog rescue group Dallas DogRRR, Karen Velasquez took one look at Sanford and immediately knew she needed to help him. Just a few days after Sanford was discharged from the hospital, Velasquez brought him home with her.

Going into foster care with Velasquez, Sanford’s disposition in life changed drastically. Now, Sanford cannot stop smiling and expressing his gratitude for his temporary owner. Velasquez said that out of the 52 pets she has fostered, Sanford is the only one to look at her differently, but in a good way.

Velasquez adds that the only time Sanford stops smiling is when he sleeps or eats. Indeed, the realization that he is finally in a safe place, with home-cooked meals to eat at that, made Sanford very grateful for getting a new lease on life.

But at the age of 10, Sanford still needs a more permanent home. Dallas DogRRR is exhausting all efforts to see that Sanford is adopted by a loving family. And after all that Sanford has been through, let us all hope that he ends up in the care of people like Velasquez. To learn more about the story, watch the video below:

Rescue Dog Celebrates An Unforgettable Third Birthday

Boris, a lovable Pit Bull, was once a shelter dog who was looking for a family to give him a forever home. Before he was adopted, he had a skin disease due to mites. A few years after his adoption, Boris had a fantastic transformation. He had turned into a healthy dog who was also famous on Instagram.

His parents wanted him to have a memorable 3rd birthday. They spoiled him more by arranging the best birthday party. He was one lucky dog. Alley and Alex Bardon fell in love with Boris when they first met him at the rescue. It was in 2017 when they decided to give Boris a loving home. It didn’t take long for Bardons to consider Boris as a part of their family.

Before they adopted Boris, they made sure he was neutered. Alex and Alley knew from the start that Boris was a special dog. They thought about having a full-on birthday party for their dog. They invited 15 guests and gave Boris a sweet peanut butter cake from Treats Unleashed.

The guests at Boris’ birthday party wore custom shirts with his face printed on them. He also had plenty of birthday outfits, which included a bandana and hat. Alley and Alex made sure that Boris would have a blast on his birthday, so they invited a photographer to capture the beautiful moment.

The extravagant party didn’t cost Alley and Alex too much money as they used other means like trading Alley’s art. For them, Boris’ happiness was priceless. All of the photos taken during Boris’ birthday party were shared on his Instagram account. There were also photos of Boris in different outfits.

The photos showed how happy Boris was. His Instagram account has over 40,000 followers, and his parents expect the number to increase. Even sponsors couldn’t resist the dog’s charm. He gets a lot of free dog supplies because of his sponsorship deals. There’s no doubt that Boris enjoys a life filled with love.
