The queen is widely known as a dog lover and her preferred breed are corgis. She also has corgi mixes but, basically, her cup of tea are these fluffy cute furballs. Meghan, on the other hand, has a beagle named, Guy. So they both have something in common and, unexpectedly, it helped their relationship get off without a hitch.
When Meghan met the Queen, they were having afternoon tea and you can imagine how nervous Meghan was at this moment. But then the Queen’s dogs cuddled up to Meghan, on her feet. This broke the ice, as both of them found out they have the love for dogs as a common interest.
Prince Harry, however, was jealous as he explained that the Queen’s dogs have been barking at him all his life. Meghan’s own pup, Guy, reportedly became close to the Queen herself as he was seen riding in the Queen’s vehicle a day before the royal wedding. It’s all smiles now at the palace as Meghan passes her test with flying colors – thanks to the Queen’s pups.
